I have to mention the store in Bath called "Buttfield's," located on Gay Street. Some other observations:
* In the middle of the town is a circle of grass and trees, hemmed in on all sides by concave buildings. If you stand in the middle of the circle, every word you speak echoes off the buildings and is completely audible.
* The Roman Baths had several pools of varying temperatures, steamrooms, areas to scrape the dirt off your skin, towel rooms and places to take a nap. In Korea, this is called a jimjjilbang, and there's roughly one on every block. The ones in Korea generally aren't built on top of sacred Briton hot springs, but they do have bathing pools full of green tea.
* What is the giant blue egg building in London? I have no idea what it's called and only saw it in the distance. Is it some kind of joke, or is it permanent?
* The Tower of London now employs actors to dress up like a king and his advisors and pore over maps as if planning some military campaign. They do this all day long, apparently in the same position, with the same serious look on their faces.
* Most of the suits of armor in the tower are equipped with massive steel codpieces, and one suit even has its hand positioned near it, as if taking a whiz.
